Privacy Policy

The SPIC Dealer Loyalty app ("the App") is operated for SPIC's authorised agri-input dealers in India and Malaysia. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Identity & contact details — your name, shop/firm name, mobile number, optional email, shop address, district/state, pincode, and optional GSTIN/licence number, provided by you during registration.
• Phone number verification — your mobile number is verified via a one-time password. Verification is processed by Google Firebase Authentication acting as our service provider.
• Location (optional) — if you tap "Use Current Location" during registration, your device location is used once to pre-fill your shop address. It is not tracked or collected continuously.
• Photos & documents (optional) — a shop photo you choose to upload and purchase invoices (photo or PDF) you submit for points verification.
• Programme activity — points earned and redeemed, scheme participation, reward redemptions, and related notifications.

How we use it

• To operate your loyalty account: verify purchases, credit points, process reward redemptions, and show scheme progress.
• To communicate programme updates (in-app notifications; SMS/WhatsApp where you have consented).
• To keep the programme fair and prevent fraud.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data is processed by our service providers only to run the App: Google Firebase (phone-number verification) and our hosting provider (application and database hosting). Data may be disclosed if required by law.

Security & retention

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in a access-controlled database. Account data is retained while your dealer account is active and for the period required by tax and commercial law for invoice records.

Your rights

You may review and correct your profile in the App at any time. You may request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account, by following the steps at dplanthasa.com/delete-account or writing to spicdealerloyalty@gmail.com.

Children

The App is intended for registered business dealers aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
